I’m not sure who wears the most rose-tinted spectacles, really – the players, the manager, the recruitment team (do we have one?) or the fans. I’d probably come down on the side of the fans – we’re always desperate to repeat the glory days, aren’t we? While conveniently forgetting age and fitness. (Although I’m definitely up for a Jack Robinson reunion).
