Superb Ben

I agree with your assessments...unless our injuries get markedly worse (not possible I'd have thought!) we have too much quality PLUS strength in depth to our squad to falter. :)

Great article Ben and thank you for the data..... it's enlightening.

What's great is that with players coming back Hecky is now able to manage minutes across the squad & rotate as seen over the past few games.

There are mixed opinions across the Blades fanbase with regards to Sander but the numbers don't lie. He's getting better with match minutes & we're seeing the same with Doyle. Nothing replaces competitive game time!

Step up McAtee and Jebbo now they're fully fit and up to speed with the coaching teams ethos we are really starting to see them unleash their potential.

More of the same please and UTB

Thanks for the analysis, Ben - that's a lot of homework.

Amazing how many scores of 98 and 99 we’ve achieved, just for these players you’ve looked at. Last season I was definitely in the “get rid of him” camp re McBurnie, but somehow now he seems to be getting his head straight and concentrating on football, so everything’s looking much brighter and I’m eating my words . . .

Egan and Norwood are like fine wines, getting better with age! I take huge delight in watching Norwood send a ball across to Baldock, who doesn’t even have to move – the ball just lands on his boot.

And it’s crossed my mind that Ndiaye is the 21st century’s George Best – dribbling past no end of players either to cross or score (even in the World Cup).

Here’s to the second half of the season! Come on you Blades - I’m definitely buckling up!!

Sue.
