Don’t panic…

Things were looking good for United at the start of February. The Blades started the month 12 points clear of third place and with a game in hand on our nearest rivals. Fans were given more reason to be optimistic when the transfer deadline passed with United keeping hold of both Iliman Ndiaye and Sander Berge. Rumours were rife that the then-still-unknown prospective buyer of the club had put in the cash that had meant United were able to refuse bids for players despite being under a transfer embargo.  

But just who was this mystery individual waiting in the wings…
