Wes Foderingham – 4

Almost made another error leading to a goal but was lucky to see his clearance cannon off Alvarez and over the bar. Made a decent save or two but distribution wasn’t good.

Jayden Bogle – 7

Just about our only driving force going forwards and kept Grealish extremely quiet. Impressive.

George Baldock – 5

Didn’t look particularly impressive but made a few good clearances. Average performance.

Jack Robinson – 4

Wasn’t awful but loses points for their first goal. Has to close Rodri down there.

Auston Trusty – 6

Didn’t have much involvement in the game to judge him off but did well in defending the box.

Luke Thomas – 5

Again, didn’t really do much. Kept Walker quiet but think that was more down to a bad performance from Walker than a good one from Thomas.

Anis Ben Slimane – 3

Did nothing with the ball when he had it and looked lost without it. He cannot play in these games when we don’t have any of the ball.

Oliver Norwood – 3

Is this the average Norwood performance in the eyes of those who think he’s “finished”? Long defended him but today he was slow, defensively frail and his passing was atrocious.

Vinicius Souza – 5

Made a few tackles but was beaten in the build-up to their first goal. No impact on the game when he had the ball.

Andre Brooks – 3

Similar situation to Slimane. Looked completely unaware of his role out of possession and may as well have not been on the pitch when we did have the ball.

Will Osula – 4

Pretty much non-existent in the game but challenged for a lot of balls forwards, won very little and should’ve done a lot better with his chance on the break.
