Player ratings - Blades vs Liverpool
Riley Roberts give marks out of ten for the return of Chris Wilder and a competent enough low block against Liverpool.
Editor’s note:
We’ve decided to start a new feature on The Pinch to coincide with the return of Chris Wilder. “Player Ratings” will be published after each match, it will be led by Riley Roberts, and you should know from the outset that he’s not throwing out 8s, 9s and 10s for nothing.

Agree with below? Disagree? Let us know in the comments.
Wes Foderingham – 5
Made 1 or 2 decent stops but was very poor with the ball, invited way too much pressure.
Jayden Bogle – 6
Little threat going forward but absolutely rock solid at the back.
Anel Ahmedhodžić – 3
Defensively weak despite foul claims for the goal. Passing was a real disappointment.
Jack Robinson – 6
Solid as he has been this season, did his job very well.
Auston Trusty – 4
Maybe controversially, I didn’t think he was good. Lost a lot of duels and his wayward passing/clearances meant we struggled to relieve pressure.
James McAtee – 6
Bright spark, the main man making things happen. Should’ve done better with his chance but a decent performance.
Vinicius Souza – 7
Absolute monster off the ball, dare I say pretty decent on it too?
Gustavo Hamer – 5
Nothing spectacular good or bad, couldn’t seem to really impact the game.
Andre Brooks – 5
Didn’t think he was brave enough with or without the ball in the first half. Had a couple of nice touches after HT though.
Will Osula – 4
Fought for a lot, won very little. Story of his season
Cameron Archer – 6
Movement was very nice, and his dribbling/winning fouls helped us out of pressure. Key man alongside McAtee in our best spell in the game.
I think Riley is going to be a hard taskmaster
With a 2-0 result about right.
