Wes Foderingham – 3
As much as I object to him being scapegoated for our performance, you can’t not give a goalkeeper a poor rating when he makes a mistake like he did. Was good up until that point but that all goes out of the window when he gifted them a goal really.
Jayden Bogle – 5
Got skinned by Mudryk a few times but put a nice ball in which McBurnie probably should’ve got onto and would’ve had a tap-in.
Auston Trusty – 4
Didn’t see much worthy of being impressed from him, some sloppy passing and fell on his arse for their 2nd goal. Get him back to LB ASAP.
Anel Ahmedhodzic – 4
Off the back of his best game of the season, throws it all away. Like Wes and Trusty, embarrassed himself in the shambles that was the 2nd goal.
Max Lowe – 5
Didn’t really offer anything going forwards but made a nice clearance in the first half which denied a great chance for Palmer.
Vinicius Souza – 7
An impressive display from the Brazilian as he effectively mopped up a lot of the danger that came our way. Looks to have taken a big step up under Wilder.
James McAtee – 4
Looked decent in the first 25 mins like most. Then went on to pick up a silly yellow card, struggle to create anything and make some poor decisions on the ball. He’ll be disappointed with that one.
Gustavo Hamer – 5
Couldn’t really impact the game how he’d like, faded in and out of the game throughout.
Andre Brooks – 4
Didn’t really look the part out of possession, always going to struggle in these types of games like he did in the first half vs Liverpool. Inexperience shone through.
Cameron Archer – 6
Should’ve squared it to Osula, not that it would have mattered. Looked lively in the first half and our most likely to get a goal. Impressed with his willingness to track back and get stuck in since playing on the left.
Oli McBurnie – 5
Would be higher if not for the fact he failed to get on the end of Bogle’s cross. Those moments change games at this level, and he knew he should’ve done much better. Won a lot of headers and had some nice linkups early on.

William Osula – N/A
Seriously, how are you meant to score someone who was on the pitch for 39 minutes, yet only touched the ball twice? Unbelievably ineffective but that summed up the second half.
Oli Norwood – 5
Actually looked intent on getting on the ball which was nice to see compared to the midfielders that started, that being said, he did absolutely nothing with it.
Starting XI Average – 4.73
