Part two – Killed in action

Jimmy Revill was a winger who played for Sheffield United from 1910 to 1915, including several games in United’s cup-winning season of 1914/15, though he did not play in the final at Old Trafford, in which United beat Chelsea 3-0.

In Part One we learned of Jimmy’s football career and, after war was declared, his enlistment in the Royal Engineers.
