Editor’s note: the last time we published this feature, the Blades drew 3-3 with Blackpool. In that match United created a high volume of high-quality chances but conspired to draw. On Wednesday, against Middlesborough, United provably had the higher volume of higher-quality chances one again (xG of 2.52 vs 1.25).
