DEM Blades is back
Three years after the last issue, DEM Blades is returning.
The Summer 2026 edition is currently being assembled by a ridiculous number of Sheffield United supporters, writers, photographers, designers, obsessives and conscripts. It’s all coming together faster than Adrian Littlejohn, or for those of you born after the millennium, than Oli Burke.
And, if you’ll forgive the lack of humility, it’s going to be superb.
So what’s inside?
Think Bochum. Think beyond.
Think European away days. Think moaning and non-moaning. Think words, pictures, Panini sticker nostalgia, fixture ticksheets and enough red-and-white detail to keep you occupied all summer.

We’ve got a Gus Hamer xG deep dive that will delight approximately sixteen stats obsessives. We’ve got some Bassett-era brilliance that everybody will enjoy. We’ve got new ideas, old memories and a few pieces that can only really be described as trivial madness.
In other words, it’s a proper fanzine.
More than anything, this issue is the product of a community. Every article, photograph, illustration and daft idea comes from people who care about Sheffield United. That’s what made DEM Blades special in the first place, and it’s what has made bringing it back worthwhile.

The fanzine hasn’t been printed yet. You’re not buying something that’s already sitting in a warehouse. You’re helping us understand how many copies we need to print, pack and send. And we don’t have a warehouse anyway.
Print Run #1 (Pre-sale)
Order before 1 July and you’ll be included in the first print run.
First-run copies will ship on or around 20 July

Orders placed from 2 July onwards will be included in the second print run.

You’ll receive two A5 sticker sheets featuring DEM Blades artwork. The designs shown in product images are mock-ups and may change slightly before printing.
Why It Costs What It Costs
We’ve spent a lot of time trying to find the balance between quality and affordability.
We want to print on decent paper stock rather than the cheapest option available. Good printing costs money. Postage costs money. Packaging costs a bit less, but not much. Every copy also takes time to produce, pack and send.
DEM Blades has always been a labour of love, but it’s still labour.
Every order helps make this issue possible and makes future editions more likely. We’ve tried to settle on a price that lets us produce something we’re proud of without making it unnecessarily expensive.
