I’ve been to Fratton Park twice (2011 and 2013, I think) and the Blades lost on both occasions! You’re right that it’s an ‘old school’ ground and back then the facilities were awfully dire, but Portsmouth’s a nice place to stay for a weekend.
The radio commentary on Saturday was also dire – but mainly because the supporters were making so much noise, BBC’s technology didn’t seem to be able to drown it out! So well done all the Travelling Blades.
Cracking read Al and was a good day. The kids had a great first trip down to Pompey and it was good to meet up with you lot in Southsea.
